Volcano's rain forest is home to the apapane birds, endemic to Hawaii. They can often be viewed from the lanai of our Common Room.
Earlier it served as an YMCA camp for hundreds of Hawaii's youngsters. Today, Hawaiian hospitality reigns as dedicated staff care for guests with kamaaina graciousness.
