With transportation from Waikiki included, our circle-island tour begins with a stop at Treasures and You, where you’ll have a chance to use the restroom before the journey, enjoy some tasty local snacks, and browse for unique souvenirs.
Next, we head to the east side of Oʻahu for a delicious treat from Leonard’s Malasadas, a beloved local favorite. After that, we visit the stunning Halona Blowhole Lookout, where you can take in awe-inspiring views of Oʻahu’s Windward coastline and shimmering turquoise waters. As we continue past Makapuʻu Lookout, enjoy the majestic views of the Koʻolau Mountain Range as we head to our next destination.
Our next stop is the Macadamia Nut Farm. See how they harvest these healthy snacks and sample the island’s freshest macadamia nuts and coffee. Visit the gift shop for the perfect easy souvenir to take home!
Next, see one of the island’s most iconic views at Kualoa Beach Park. The famous Mokoli’i island lies just off the coast. Young Hawaiian chiefs used to practice for their roles in this sacred space during ancient times. And behind the park, the steep, ridge-lined Ko’olau cliffs shoot up into the sky for a panoramic view! After the fun in the sun at this energy-filled stop - you guessed it - we’re ready for more food!
After soaking in the scenery, it’s time for more food. Enjoy a flavorful plate of Kahuku-style garlic shrimp at Tanaka’s in Kahuku, followed by a sweet snack of banana turon from the nearby Kahuku Land Farm.
Next, we’ll take you to a popular location to spot the Honu, or Hawaiian sea turtle. These gentle creatures often come ashore to sunbathe. We’ll observe them respectfully from a distance, as they are federally protected.
To finish off the day, we visit the historic surf town of Haleiwa, where you can stroll through local shops, explore art galleries, and cool off with a refreshing treat from Matsumoto Shave Ice, a North Shore favorite.
