Baldwin Beach Park

Where: North Shore, Maui
Activities: Bodysurfing, bodyboarding, swimming, surfing
Amenities: Parking, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, lifeguard

Considered one of the best bodysurfing and bodyboarding sites on Maui, Baldwin Beach begins a half-mile away at Wawau Point, passes the Maui Country Club and ends at Kapukaulua Point. This beautiful, long, white sand beach is perfect for a scenic walk or run. There are protected swimming areas with calm waters on the east and west ends known as Baldwin Cove and Baby Beach. During winter, strong shorebreaks can make Baldwin Beach dangerous for swimming and bodyboarding, so be mindful of the conditions.

Please note: Hawaiʻi's ocean and beach conditions are as unique as the islands themselves. Visit HIOCEANSAFETY.COM which constantly monitors the surf, wind, and reports from public safety officials that directly affect the conditions for safety of Hawaiian beaches. Use the hazard signs on HIOCEANSAFETY.COM as well to quickly assess conditions and help you find the appropriate beach for your visit.
