Waikiki Holiday Parade | Go Hawaii

Waikiki Holiday Parade

Get ready to experience one of Honolulu’s most magical holiday traditions! The Waikiki Holiday Parade lights up the streets on the Friday after Thanksgiving, celebrating Pearl Harbor Survivors and honoring our American military—just in time for the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Since 1998, this vibrant parade has brought together hundreds of bands from the Mainland and Hawaii. Thousands of residents and visitors line the sidewalks to enjoy the lively, non-competitive event. You’ll see local bands, mainland marching bands, military units, service bands, Pearl Harbor Survivor families, entertainers, and more! Kicking off at 7:00 PM, the parade starts at Fort DeRussy and makes its way down the stunning, torch-lit Kalakaua Avenue, ending at Kapiolani Park. Picture the sounds of music, the sparkle of lights, and the breathtaking oceanfront views along the 1.5-mile route. You won’t want to miss it!
