We invite you to embrace the true aloha spirit of Molokai, of the people and the island itself. Aloha means unconditional love, which is shared in the hula (Hawaiian Dance) , the moolelo (stories) and the oli (chants). You will experience:

+ Introduction Lecture "Molokai Nui A Hina, Molokai Island Child of the great Mother, Protector and Goddess Hina"
+ Hula Auwana (modern style hula) and Hula Kahiko (Traditional Style Hula)
+ Oli (Hawaiian Chant)
+ Laau Lapaau (Hawaiian Herbal Medicine)
+ Excursions and including hearing the Moolelo (stories):
- Places of Wahi Pana (sacred) and archeological sites of Molokai
- Kalaupapa Lookout & Phallic Rocks
- Waikolo Lookout
+ Working the land with Uncle Bobby Alcain on the Na Pulapula Farm
Kumu Paa Lawrence Aki is born and raised in the valley of Halawa, Molokai. His maternal grandmother Bernice Kawailani Nahoopii was his first teacher. For 35+ years he was taught the ancient Hawaiian traditions by his still living blood-uncle Kumu Hula Anakala Pilipo Solatorio.
