ANAINA HOU INTRODUCES GUIDED GATHER A LOCALLY GROWN CULINARY EXPERIENCE
Kauai's beautiful North Shore gathering place, Anaina Hou Community Park (pronounced A NYNA HO), invites visitors to experience Kauai at its roots, in a ʻGuided Gatherʻ through the largest farmers market on the island. Every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm, escorted by a local guide, guests gather recipe-specific, fresh-from-the-field Kauai produce to be transformed into a delicious ohana style meal, prepared on site. Learning about Kīlauea's planation history and talking story with local farmers, they sample the rich bounty of the island, from beets, carrots and daikon to exotic mangosteen and soursop. Sustainable, healthy eating is celebrated in a hands-on, farm-to-fork dining experience.
