Beginning Hawaiian Quilting Workshop

The Hui welcomes Art with Aloha Visiting Artist, Kathy Tsark from Oahu. Kathy has over 45 years as a Hawaiian Quilt artist and introduces students to making a Hawaiian Quilt Pillow (20”). Techniques such as cutting the design, layout, basting, and applique stitching will be covered. Born and raised in Hawaii, Kathy has been a lifelong resident on Oahu and has been a Hawaiian quilt artist for over 45 years. Her brick and mortar store in Kaimuki on the island of Oahu was open for 14 years and has operated the business on the web since 2005 mainly focusing on classes on traditional Hawaiian Quilting at various locations around Oahu.
