Ala Moana Pro Junior
This competition marks the finale of the Junior competitive season and will determine the coveted slots into the ultimate World Junior Championships in Ericeira, Portugal early January 2017. The top four boys and top two girls from each region are invited to compete in the World Junior Championships and in Hawaii, it will all come down to the Ala Moana Pro Junior.
The competition at Ala Moana Bowls can be viewed from the east end of Magic Island and is free and open to the public. The event will heat up as top seeds like Cody Young (Maui) "“ Junior Tour rankings leader "“ Noa Mizuno (Oahu) and Noah Hill (Maui) fight for a spot atop the podium, prize money, priceless ratings points and ultimately a slot into Worlds.
The 18 & Under competition will be a fantastic display of Hawaii's junior talent, with athletes navigating the barrel, taking to the air, and digging their fins in for classic power surfing.
